2001 Chrysler T&C Limited speedometer stopped working
"I have a 2001 Chrysler T&C Limited that has 70,000 miles on it. I
replaced the battery in it over the weekend and my wife says the speedometer doesn't work now. I checked it out and noticed that the gauge needle is in the 7 o'clock position which is different from where its normally at. When I turn the ignition to the on position the needle jumps to around the 8 o'clock position but does not move above that when driving. The odometer still registers but there is no speed registering. What can I do to check this out? " |
RE: 2001 Chrysler T&C Limited speedometer stopped working
Any symptoms of the other guages...fuel, rpm? I'd start with first checking the instrument panel fuses. If you find nothing wrong I would just have it taken in and looked at. Could be something small and stupid or it could be the instrument panel needing replacement.

simple fix possibly, on a similar post it states you can run a diagnostic check on your instruments by pressing and holding the trip odometer reset until the needles stop moving, give it a try.

Have you found any solutions? I did the same thing today. I disconnected my battery to clean the terminals and my turn signals, speedometer and tach are doing the same thing. Please help.
