Default water leak..

Hi, Ive bought a 1999 grand voyager 2.5 from a dealer on ebay and arranged to go and collect it today from about 60 miles away. But, the guy has just called me saying could I leave it til this afternoon and call before I leave as he has just found a 'tiny leak from the header tank' and he is replacing the header tank to try and solve it coz he doesn't want me driving all that way with a leak..

Should I be wary of this? I'm not sure if its a sign of a larger issue? He mentioned that 'its not even under pressure yet' I'm only a girl, so not too sure what he meant!

Thanks for your help!

Well its better that he found the leak and fixes it than what it would be if you found the leak halfway back home. Parts age and its normal that plastic things start cracking and breaking. The cooling system builds up pressure when the engine is hot, that is normal, what he meant is the radiator was leaking when it is cold and there is no pressure. Good luck with your purchase.
