2001 town& country starting problem

Just bought 2001 t&c 89,000 miles with a 3.8l when starting this van, you have to crank it for 5 to 6 seconds before it will start and once it starts you can smell a little fuel. Once the vehicle has been started for a few seconds you can shut it off and restart it with no problems. Only if it sits a while. Any suggestions?

You have a leaky O ring in your fuel supply line somewhere near the engine. You are losing line pressure when the vehicle sits for a while. These vehicles start right up most of the time, I would get it fixed very soon, you don't need an engine fire.

I am having the same problem in my 01 T&C that I just purchased about 2 months ago. It was fine when I bought it, but started this about a week ago. Any suggestions on finding the leak? Is it hard to replace on of these o-rings? Any help is appreciated!
