2001 Voyager 3.4, low idle, stuttering in regular manner

I'm new to chrysler, to american cars and to this forum. I bought it just last week. Its got about 190000 miles. Its a very nice car, as you all know, but the van is idling at about 600rpm and in a regular manner the car 'shakes' from stuttering at every rpm. It starts nicely, revs up very good.

is there any 'common' thing I could do, or what should I check to narrow in the proplem?
thanks, stubsi

Is the check engine light on? If so, what are the codes?

Going to guess here that your location of DEis Denmark? Here in the USA, the 3.4 was not available in that era. So is this a Petrol or Diesel motor? You listed 190,000 as miles, that is pretty high for any motor for wear and time for major maintenance.
A relatively quick thing to have checked (IF the motor uses an EGR VALVE) is to have that system inspected.

Check engine light is not on. De is Germany, but I'm in the us. It's a 3.3 petrol engine. So I'm gonna have a look at the egr system. Thanks so far.
