2001 Voyager : How is this part called?

Hello,

My drivers power sliding door just stopped working and I went to an electrician to diagnose the problem - he said that the below shown motor of the latch is broken. How is this part exactly called and where can I buy it?

It is either the motor from the power latch assembly. Or the main sliding door motor.

Both can be bought from a Chrysler dealer, Or if you are good with DIY, you could try and check the condition of the motor brushes. Worn Brushes are quite likely to be the cause of the motor failure and are very cheap to replace.

I'll take the motor to a service and see if they can fix it.

I have phoned the local Chrysler dealer and he said I can order only the whole latch and it would cost me 180 EUR. Does anyone know where I could buy only the motor (some online shop in US perhaps)?

Thanks for your help!

I don't think the motor is available by itself. You will have to buy the whole latch. Your only hope is to try and get the motor fixed. As I said it may just need new brushes which will not cost much. Good luck
