2002 ATC AC/Heat Problem
Hello, I am stuck and have no place else to turn, hoping for some help.
My 2002 Chrysler T/C with ATC has a problem. The drivers side vents and much warmer than the passenger side. This isnt a problem on the higher temp setting (heat) but is very noticeable during AC operation. I have stripped down the covers and can watch the door actuators move on the drivers side of the heater/AC box. When I actuate the drivers temp control, I can see the doors move fully. When I operate the controls for air movement (such as from floor to vent) I can see those doors move fully as well. When Operate the passenger temp control, I can hear a motor run but cannot see it. Does it need calibration? Where is the passenger temp control doors? I am leaving for a trip to FLorida from Wisconsin in a few days and dread going south without AC. AC compressor cycles normally, I think the high temps from the heater core are mixng with the AC temps and "warming" the AC operation. Any help? Please? Thanks, Doc. |
