2002 chrysler town & country help

Hi guys I'm new to the forum and hope some of you can help me out. I just bought a 2002 chrysler town and country van. When I got it it didn't run so good. When I try to start it and when it does start i had to feather the gas peddle. It was running rough and wouldn't idle. So I went and bought a coil for it and once I put that on it started right up and idled good. After i drove it a little bit it started to run rough and idle rough. Then it quit. I tried to start it and wouldn't start it rolls over but won't even try to start. After it sits it will start up agian and After it warms up agian it Will run rough and idle rough. Can anyone tell me whats going on? And there is no egr valve on this van. There is plates that covers where the egr goes. If anyone can help me out that would be great. And it is a 3.3liter

This warming up and running rough is a sensor fault where the electronics in the sensor make resistances due to heat expansion. Think I woold try crank and cam sensors.

I would put a scanner on it first and check for codes

Sorry havent been on in awhile. Here is what i done. I put a new fuel pump in it and a new fuel filter. i was searching online and seen these vans had injecter wires melted. So i found them they were melted together so i fixed them. The van still had trouble. So my dad had a Throttle position sensor that he took out of his van cause he thought his was bad but wasnt. I put that in and it started idled and reved up good. i shut it off and had hard time starting it. Sometimes it will start and sometimes not. so today i went and tried to start it it will start then it would die almost like your turning off the key. So i unplugged the throttle position sensor and it started but i couldnt rev it up just sat there and idle. i plug it back in and does the same thing starts then dies. I know its getting great spark and fuel. I did the key thing on and off a few times and it brought up some codes. code 0508 code 0106 code 0108 code 0123. Thanks

Anybody have any idea what it could be?

Well you've got a Throttle position sensor, well you've pulled that. MAP circuit, same. Idle speed high, idle speed low, well you pulled that as well. So old codes of what you've done and need erased. I'm looking at crank sensor here, sometimes starts and erratic as if its not sending right info to ECU to fire the injectors, correctly. Worth a try and hope it does.

Ok im gunna get a new crank sensor today and put that on there and try that. Ill let ya know if it works or not thanks!

You've got no misfires or any fuel trims detected and your EGR is not there so no chance of blanking it off to see what happens. If your engine has a MAF, disconnect it and see if there's any improvement. It should run on old co-ordinates. Then there's your burnt wiring might have goosed your ECU, but first things first.

ok i got a new crank sensor. i unplugged the old one thats in the van and it wont come out.and it broke is there any way to get it out of the motor? There isnt enough to grab with pliers. Is there any tricks on getting it out?

Check its shape, what's it made of. If its tubular plastic, drill it out, no further than sensor is in. then pick out what's left. I would use small drills around circumference. Dremel drill comes to mind.
