2002 T&C blower motor removal

I'm trying to replace the blower motor to get rid of the high pitched wine it makes while on. But, I have not been able to get the screw that is against the firewall out of the cover. Am I missing something? I've searched all over the internet and found this same question asked a couple of other times, but did not see an answer. Thanks for any help in advance.

the correct way is to remove the dash and hvac box to get to it.

O.K. Is there an incorrect way that will save some trouble?

 Well, I did ask for that one. I don't suppose that there is some kind of flexible nut driver out there, huh? It sucks that I can get my fingers on it, but I can't seem to get a socket on it for nothing.

not even the 8mm swivel will get to it
