I recently purchased a sweet 2002 Town and Country Limited that has just about every option but DVD with overhead monitor. I see OEM players and monitors for sale on Ebay and would like to install them. The DVD player would go in place of the CD changer. Has anyone ever done this? Is the cabling for the monitor in place or would I need to snake it through from the dash?

I also have the rear auto climate controler on the ceiling. Can the existing controller be used on the LCD monitor?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

 

I also have a T&C Limited w/o the Entertainment system from the factory. If I replace the radio/cd changer to the DVD/radio/CD head-unit, is there already a cable/pigtail run to where the monitor should be mounted? Or do I need to add that cable/replace the entire wiring harness, etc.

What other mods will I have to make, if any, to mount the video monitor?

I also have the rear HVAC control & his question that goes along with it.
