When you turn the key to start does the engine rotate or do you just hear a click or...does the engine start then die right away? The blinking red light is the anti-theft system telling you it doesn't recognize the key fob or there is a malfunction in the system and that is likely the cause of your no start.

Thank for the reply. I heard no noise at all. The van did start but within 3-4 seconds it turns off. I tried opening and closing it with the key and nothing. Disconnected the battery nothing happened. I know it's both the battery or starter they where just replaced 3 months ago.

its a skim key or module issues a shop or dealer would need to take care of this issue.
