2003 T&C Gas Fumes, Leak? Problem
 

Hello, So im working out the the bugs in my newly acquired 2003 T&C. So.. I have a strong smell of fuel mainly from right at the sliding door area on passenger side but also from other side. Not getting it from engine compartment. really got bad when i filled it up. much worse and mostly with engine NOT running. I thought that i saw that this is a common problem? ive got underneath and no signs of leak, rubbed my hands on everything and no smell! so, what do i need to do as far as replacing any valves or sensors or what ever could be the culprit! its a 3.8L with only 108,000 so been sitting around alot of its life if that helps. and thanks for any help cause im going to go buy a fire extinqisher (cant even spell it!) for the first time in my life! 🤔

might be a leak at the top of the gas tank
