2005 T&C electrocial issues! Please help
 

I have a 2005 Chrysler town and country with approx 90k miles. Everything is great about the van except a weird electrocial issue. Here is a list of what's happening:

Dash board lights flickering
Odometer and gas gauge sparatic
ABS and parking brake light flash from time to time
4 times the van has shut off while driving down the road
Radio will kick in and out

Here is what I have tried to fix:

2 different batteries, fixed it for a day each time
Ran electorical diagnosis test, nothing showed
Re-solder battery cables
Tested alternator
WD-40 all fuses and wire connectors

I have spent close to $500 so far with no fix. I recently took it to a auto electric mechanic, said that it could be the FCM but mechanic did research from others that had this issue and it's has not fixed the problem. It would cost me $1000.00 and he did not know if it would fix it or not. Took to dealership, going to cost $90 per hour to look over. Which I cannot afford. Has anyone had this issue, or know the fix?

not to be an ass but U have already spent 500 on a whim and the dealer will tell u up front what they will charge to look at it and u say U cant afford? This is standard practice in and and all shops to charge u an hour diog what ever there labor rate is and if more is needed to see whats going on they will come back to u and ask for more.
U need to have a dealer scanner hooked up to it and see what the codes are in the system.

Sit in the seat while someone does a shake test on the IPM (fuse box) and all it's connections and wire harnesses leading to it. Watch for any changes. IPMs on 4th generation vans have a history of corrosion problems. If something changes make a note of what is wiggled to make it happen. Hey, it's free.

Chrysler tech- I have already spent $500 in labor for them to tell me they don't know what the problem is. I am saying I can't afford 10 hrs of labor to find nothing. That's why I am on here. There are no trouble codes showing.

Who ever said 10 hours of labor would be needed? a trained level 4 electrical guy prob take 2 max to find then what ever it is to fix it.
