2006 Grand Voyager 2.8 crd injectors

Hi I hope some one can help, I am looking to buy a 2006 Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD, what I need to know is if a injector goes does it have to be married up to the ECU with a computer?
I ask as my last car a Ssangyong Rodius 2.9 TD had 2 injectors go, I brought two new injectors put them in and they did not work, I had to take the car to my local Ssangyong dealer and got charged £290 to have the injectors married up to the ecu.
If the do need to be married up on a Chrysler what software do they use? and can you buy it? as Ssangyong use a scan 100 system which you can not buy here in the UK, not even on ebay.
Thanks for all help
Jason

Voyager's injectors are plug and play...

Yes, Chrysler - or VM Motori who make the engine use Bosch injectors and although they can be adjusted electronically they do not have to be. They are pretty simple electro mechanical injectors - mine have done 130,000 Miles and I had them checked for the first time today - they were within spec.
