2007 Grand Voyger 2.8 crd AT problem

Goes in limp mode, P0725 Engine Rpm sensor, shows engine rpm in ECM but reads 0 engine rpm in tcm. Works time to time and when that is i have engine rpm in both ecm and tcm. Can anyone pass me a wiring diagram for the Transmission so i can find the wire from ecm sending rpm signal to the tcm

Thank you

Sounds like your Crank Angle Sensor is putting your car into limp mode. Car maybe ok starting, driving from cold, but when things heat up it starts to fail. Change Cam sensor as well. Or am I missing something here.

Update

There are no running problems as goes for the engine and the rev meter is flawless, i checked the crank and cam, it wont start/run if i unplug them, and the engine rpm signal is ok to the dash and ecm. I found wiring diagram and found the wire for the crank sensor signal nr2 from the ecu going to the tcu and the wire is ok, smaller plug on the ecu pin 43 and pin 6 in the tcu. I am wondering about bad tcu............

If you are sure the wire and connectors are ok (try wiggling the loom and monitoring the signal to the EATX with a scope/ meter with the engine running) then I'm afraid it's the EATX

Yes, thatīs the next step, if the signal is ok with the engine running then the tcu is bad, if the signal is lost or not ok then it might be bad ecu, will let you know the outcome.

Confirmed, the signal is ok with engine running, probed the tcu connector pin 6. signal on the scope is flawless while the engine rpm reading from the tcu is 0 jumping to be ok and jumping up and down. This one needs new EATX module.
