Default Finding the wiring harness!?

I just bought a 2008 T & C with a spec sheet saying it has the heavy duty towing package including engine and tranny coolers and wiring harness.

Can't find the pin connector at the end of the harness. Expected it to be in the left compartment adjacent to the jack. Am I close?

Having a hitch installed on Monday and the shop ordered a harness along with the hitch. Doesn't sound like I'll need the harness, but I'd like to find the connector before I go to the shop and say "hitch only, please".

Sure appreciate some help on this.

Thanks, Rob

Are you certain that it has the tow package?
I always thought that if the vehicle had a factory installed tow package, that it includes the hitch and wiring

Did you check in front of the radiator to see that it has a trans cooler??

The wiring Is NOT factory installed...It is Installed with the hitch at time of pickup.....The "BAG of Wiring" should have been placed somewhere in the cargo area when the vehicle was prepped.....

If the wiring had been installed, It would be taped up under the rear bumper. (It is totally concealed, and not visible anywhere INSIDE the vehicle.)

Default Wiring Harness, 2008 T & C

Bought the vehicle use so I'm guessing any bag of wiring is long gone.
Definitely has "heavy duty engine cooling, heavy duty transmission oil cooler, trailer towing wiring harness & trailer tow group".
I did find a 1" cylinder with a red face and single hole in the center that looks like it might be a connector, but with only 2 wires coming in the back side it doesn't look very "harnessy" to me.
Guy I'm going to on Monday comes highly recommended from a local dealership and independent shop, so I guess my questions will be answered then. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'll let you know what I find out.
