2008 T & C Wiring Diagram Needed (dash lights flashing )
 

I have a 2008 town and country. The Dash Lights and wipers will not go off. The headlights also blink on and off. I have narrowed it down and I can pull a fuse out of the fuse box or pull a plug off of the door module behind the door panel of the drivers door.

Of course when I do. I cannot open the window anymore. But it does solve the problem and I can drive the van.

I was hoping to drive the car to see if I can trace back which wire might be shorting out.

Any advice where to find a diagram?

For odd normalities like this your car needs a hard reset. Pull battery neg off for half hour then refit. But what is the state of your battery and is the alternator charging near 14 volts.

Keep us posted on whether the above suggestion works. I was unable to find any TSBs that would pertain to your described concern, but please let me know if there's anything I can do to assist.

This sounds like a short/water ingress into one of the door connectors as you've identified. This will cause all sorts of issues on the CANBUS system which runs pretty much every part of the car.

I think you could probably test this quite easily, where you unplug, see what cables and switches are 'further' inside the door than the plug, then start to test each wire in turn using a meter checking for continuity or resistance. I'm guessing you'll soon find either a dead short or a low resistance on one of the pairs that will indicate water has been getting into the electrics somewhere in there.

Or the easier approach, take door panel off and look for damp patches!
