2008 Town & Country TPMS error
Hi,
I notice the TPMS error when one tire pressure dropped to 29. Refilled to 31. Other 3 tires at 31. After reading owners manual, I drove for 20 minutes on the freeway averaging 47mps for 20 minutes. Error did not correct. What else can I do? Thanks |
Update: after refilling all tires to 32 drove 24 minutes but error remains, until the next morning when "check engine light" appears and the TPMS error disappears.
I tried to retrieve an error code with the 3 times on/off ignition method. NO CODE appeared. |
Might be the sensors acting up or even the TPMS control module in your ride. Unfortunately it's a common enough problem

Flashing "check egine light"
Update again: So the "check engine light" ok no immediate problem, Have drove weeks and no problems before. The next morning , I notice the engine light and this time the engine is missing terribly. A burning smell and the check engine light is blinking!!! OK, NOW WHAT?
I decide not to tow my van 18 miles to the dealership where I service and get my repairs done, but to drive to the neighborhood gas station. They are super busy and am told, it might be a day or two before it gets looked at. Ok, so here I wait for a phone call....... updates to come ! |
UPDATE: error code pointed to fuel injector problem. All 6 replaced and engine purring again. TPMS error lights again. After reading the owners manual again regarding the TPMS error, inflated all 4 tires to 35 and then the TPMS error lights disappeared right away. And haven't returned.
