2009 & 2011 Town & Country Ride Differences

I purchased a 2009 T&C Limited with 16k miles and a 2011 T&C Touring with 7K miles. One thing I notice about the 09 vs the 11 is the handling. The 09 is very floaty and which causes the nose to dive on moderate roads and lights to drop considerable at night. The 11 is a firm control ride with tighter steering and a more solid feel.

I measured the springs with a caliper and noticed the 11 has thicker and shorter springs. Most components seem the same for the suspension. Is it possible to purchase the 2011 springs and place them on the 09 then align the vehicle?

The 09 also has load level shocks which might need replacement. I do not know about strut considerations. I also wonder if they stiffened the body structurally in the 11 because I tend to hear creaks in the rear suspension on the 09 when backing out and down my uneven driveway.

I really like the 09 because of the features, just not the ride.

Thank you for any help and input.:)
