Question 2010 T&C Touring Seat Belt reminder

I have a 2010 Town & Country Touring. When I bought it, both front seats had working seat belt warnings when either the passenger or driver seats were occupied but the belt not fastened when driving. Recently, The passenger side no longer provides a warning when the vehicle is operated with an unbelted passenger. Dealer claims I have no such system on the passenger side. What would cause the passenger side to not work, but the driver's side to function properly? I am told there is no senser under the passenger seat. Is there something that is interconnected with the driver's side, or some sort of senser in the belts themselves? I am looking for the correct terminology to relay to the dealer's maintenance shop so they know that there is such a system, and what to look for. Can anyone help?
