98 T & C Drivetrain Shudder

Mydrivetrain has a little shudder when cruising in overdrive. The shudder lasts only a secondor two and is only when I start going up a hill. The trans was rebuilt at 100K and works fine except for this shudder and does not slip. Ithas 150K now.Could this be something other than a transmission problem?

RE: 98 T & C Drivetrain Shudder

its called passing gear or Torque Converter Clutch lock up its basicly 4th gear or 5th which ever one your tranny has a 1:1 with the engine speed as u climb up the hill it needs more power so it shifts down to 4th or 3rd u feel it.. U have the CVIs reset and a quick learn donw that should help provided the people that built your tranny correctly. U have a quick learn done at adealer or some tranny place if thay have the right scan tool I dont know if its out there for aftermarket places.
