Hi, there are several different types fitted to the V6 GV 3.3 and 3.8, although most (not sure about the diesel ones) will fit however they do have varying power outputs depending on vans spec. Electric door etc have a higher capacity units. Usually for European spec 2004 models, generally they'll have a 135 or 160 amp. Pre 2000 ones will also fit but they are only 90 to. 120 amp.

I'm sounding like a broken record at the moment! But msd when you get round to changing the alternator please do take pics and post back, it'll help others out.

(Especially on loosening the belt tensioner as mine was a pain to do when I wanted to move the alternator to change a glow plug on my 2.8CRD model)
