auto transmission

I have a grand voyager which has traveled 138,000 klms, the auto is leaking a bit of fluid, but every now and then at slow speeds under 10 klms it drops out of gear and sometimes takes several seconds to get back into gear. It does not seem like the bands are worn because it does not slip at all when driving or going up steep inclines. The car is serviced by the dealer at scheduled klms. Is their a pump that is likely to cause this problem.

Transmission solonoid pack.I have seen them replaced and have also seen them start working properly after a full transmission flush. Is it more prevelent when you first start to drive and get better as the car warms up?

Thanks Jerry, it does get better as the car warms up. Is it a big job to change the transmission solonoid pack.

When I had these same symptoms, I put in a can of Trans-X in and drove the car for a week then did a full fluid flush and I never had a problem after that. I do not think it is hard to replace at all and there are lots of pages returned on a google search with solenoid pack and Chrysler as the search criteria.
