Default Can I use button to the left of hazards?

Hi all,

I was wondering if the left button of the three button panel on the center dashboard/console (below my clock and above my AC controls on my version) can simply be connected to something or does a switch have to be purchased.

In case I'm not describing it properly, I'm referring to the three buttons in the center dashboard or console. The middle button is the double red triangles for the hazard lights and the far right has "ESP OFF" in white lettering.

I need to hook up a release button to unlock my wheelchair and the left button on this panel would be ideal. I called my local dealer and they were going to sell me the whole 3 button panel.

So can I simply hook the switch to this open slot and use it as the button I need?

Thanks for any information you guys can provide.
