A/cond Compressor

Hi all,
I need an advise on my Chryler Grnd Voyger,3.3l,V6, yr 2000.
I've replaced a brand new compressor sometime in Sept 2011. Last weekend, while driving with d A/cond "ON" suddenly I a squeking like sound suddenly appear thru d engine.
When I accelerate again,d sound came up again.
I then tried to "OFF " d a/cond n d sound dissapear n continue driving.
When i on d a/c again,d sound appeared again.
I was told by an a/c mechanic that it cud due to d FAN,which might be faulty cuz it not functioning properly according to d right speed.
Pls confirm whether tis is true?
If its true n d fan need to b replace,shud d compressor b change as well,tqvm.

If the fans are not sufficient, the high side pressure will go above a certain threshold and the PCM will not engage the compressor. Likely the compressor took a dump again.

This time make sure u have the right amount of oil in the compressor and system itself

Thanks yiu guys,so that sound that i heard when I step on d accelerator is confirmed to be a sound of a KAPUT compressor right.
That shows now I got to replace both d Compressor n d A/C Fan right!
There goes d damage......
