Coolant bleed hole on 98 3.3 GVoyager
 

I was changing the coolant in my 98 3.3 V6 grand voyager and realised that there doesn’t seem to be a bleed hole for air trapped in the system when refilling.

There is one apparently on 96/97 3.3 V6’s but not on the 98 V6.

Should I use the temp sensor socket to bleed the system (like 2.4’s, according to Haynes), or is it located somewhere else.

I know that there’s air trapped inside, cos I took out about 10 liters of coolant, and could only get about 6 back in.

Any ideas anyone?

truth,this what chrysler says to do.....
COOLING SYSTEM - REFILLING
First clean system to remove old coolant, see Cooling System Cleaning.
Fill the system, using the correct antifreeze as described in the Coolant Section. Fill the system to 50 percent of its capacity with 100 percent glycol. Then complete filling system with water. The 2.4L engine requires venting by removal of the coolant sensor on top of the water outlet connector Coolant Temperature Sensor - 2.4L Engine Drain/Fill When coolant reaches this hole:
[ul][*]Install coolant sensor and tighten to 7 N·m (60 in. lbs.) for 2.4L Engines. [/ul]
Continue filling system until full, this provides better heater performance. Be careful not to spill coolant on drive belts or the generator.
Fill coolant reserve system to at least the MAX mark with 50/50 solution. It may be necessary to add coolant to the reserve tank after three or four warm up/cool down cycles to maintain coolant level between the MAX and MIN mark. This will allow trapped air to be removed from the system.
