There should be no drip or steam. Best check when engine/heater and coolant cold due to metal expansion.

Well today had a chance to look around some more, found I had to put some more water in, again not loads disappearing, again just below the line in the bottle.
I had a good old look around and think I might have spotted it, and I think the bad news is it's the radiator giving up at the corner. https://www.chryslerforum.com/forum/...1&d=1449420941 Difficult to see in the photo there but that was slightly wet to the touch, and as it hadn't rained here today I reckon that's the spot or thereabouts. Now to look into a new radiator and fitting I guess :-( |
I had a drip drip leak for a while then a complete failure. It was a small "U" bend underneath, off side, I think it linked the water pump. Cost £29

Bit of an old thread, but to tie things up, I decided to order a new radiator (From ebay which was about £70) as I could see brown coolant down one side of it.
Turns out it was the top left (looking from the bumper towards the engine) seam had started to leak. I did a full video on the radiator replacement if anybody else needs it: |
