ECU wiring
I have a 2002 LX Town & Country, a month ago my van was running rough, so i checked the codes and got P0107. I replaced the MAP sensor and problem did not go away. I took it to my local mechinc and he found the wiring going to the ECU was pulled too tight and causing the problem. He pulled some slack in the wiring so it was not pulling on the wiring plugs and problem solved. Well the problem is back and now if you move the wiring the van will go dead and runs really bad, plus the P0107 code is back. Any suggestions on the wiring harness going to ECU, does the whole wiring harness have to be replaced or can just the plugs on the wiring harness be replaced??
thanks for any help anybody can provide!!! |
RE: ECU wiring
here ya go. U will have 2 wires with 5 volts on them key on and one ground wire with 60 ohms with key on.
5 volt supply and sensor return is 5 volts key on. The sensor ground is internal PCM ground FIltered. That means u turn the key off the OHMS will go down to nothing or close and key on it will be 60 ohms. U can replace the plug to the map sensor yes a dealer can look up the plug wire repair kit that will have a new plug and 3 strans of wires and heat shrink.
