Inner tie rods

Inner tie rods
Hi all....I need to replace the inner tie rods. The local motor factor looked up his book of suppliers and it appears that the 1996-2001 models fits the 2001+ model?? Does anybody know if this is true...??I have a 2002 2.5 CRD Voyager. There are plenty of inner tie rods on Ebay at roughly £25 the pair...but they specify it is for the older model. Not too many newer model ones available and they are £25+ each!! They look the same????Just trying to save some money here, this car has cost plenty past few months and the starter's on it's way out as well!!! :-((((
Any advice appreciated on the fitment.
TIA

You will need a special tool to remove inner tie rods. You will need to have an alignment, and if your 'local motor factor' looked it up, why are you doubting his information?
So you have the internet, why don't you look up the information yourself. Do you have auto parts stores in your country? don't they have online catalogs? are you capable of using search functions within a web site?

HI 22chrysler, I can use search functions on websites but the information I got from my local motor factor and looking on Ebay etc was abiguous and left me slightly doubtful, the car is going into a garage to get done but me supplying the parts for him saves me money. Didn't want to order the wrong parts.....

Most garages don't like to install customer supplied parts, and they often will not stand behind any failures that might occur. Besides the cheaper the price, the cheaper the part... usually that really cheap stuff on ebay is JUNK from china.
