Folding mirrors dont work
I have a Chrysler 2002 model and when I press the button for the mirrors to fold nothing happens on either side any ideas?

They work best if you throw the switch after turning off the ignition, then open and close the drivers door.

BTW the passenger heated seat doesn't work that well but the drivers one does do you know what could cause this and if so do you know how to fix this |
I have got the same issue.
Love the car except for the small problems which seller informed me of before buying it |
My folding mirrors don't work either, but I expected that since they are both glued back together after being badly damaged by a previous owner.
That's a repair job I have on my todo list but with no urgency whatsoever. I'll appreciate a "howto repair folding mirrors" with pictures though.. |

mine do what ever they wish to do, sometimes they work fine, other times the passenger one does nothing, other times passenger one is fine and drivers side does nothing. often I sit there and flick the switch several times before either they both fold or I just give up and leave it haha very fickle things

I only press the switch when I turn the engine, I have also tried with engine on at idle but no.
doesn't bother me too much unless parking up In a car park, I don't like people knocking my mirrors |
- it takes less than 3 minutes to take one off, must be the easiest GV job ever
- should work with or without IGN on or off or even key inserted - start by looking at the (1) switch, then look at the (2) [in mirror] connector & wiring flick the switch several times before either they both fold darkcild101 how to Best of luck. |

I wish i lived nearer to you i would drop it off and you could sort it all out for me for a fee of course You are right its the electrics (and smoke) otherwise i love the car to bits |

In either case you must pre-exclude wiring and switching before you even consider buying a replacement mirror at about £50 scrapyard price. Best of luck my mate ! |
