Could be a wheel bearing or drop link.

Change that oil in your gearbox ASAP. Read my thread on this matter further down.

Had my drop link and anti roll bushes replaced recently, and afterwards I got a slight rubbing noise when going round corners. Turned out that there was a grease nipple somwhere on the steering that was touching the drive shaft when going round a corner - may be worth checking this out.

Had an issue once with a cracked rim that caused a clicking when turning.

I know this is an old thread but I recently experienced the same clicking noise when moving forward and slowing down. Everything in my soul told me it was a CV joint BUT it was not happening when turning in full lock either way. Every other CV joint issue I have ever had in any other car has always presented it self when turning. So I replaced all the bushings and the ball joint but no joy the click was still there. Eventually changed the CV joint and hey presto click gone.

So moral of the story, if it sounds like the CV joint , chances are it probably is.
