Fuse keeps blowing to front blower, blinker, ABS
 

I have a 2000 Grand Voyager 3.3l. The fuse keeps blowing on start-up of the car. But it only blows after the car is already hot and just been driven. I have changed the blower motor and the blower relay. I am going to change the blower resistor, but I don't think this is it. The blower does not work at any speed after the fuse blows. Could it be a short in the wire harness and if so, any ideas on how to check that?:confused:

its short to ground so what u do is get a wire diagram find all the items on that one fuse then eliminating it one by one
Unplug things drive it like u say and then see if it blows if not then u are in that right area.

If it's the 10 amp fuse 12 that's blowing...that would be the front blower motor relay (not the blower motor), the anti-lock brake controller, the combination flasher module, reverse light bulb sockets, the transmission range sensor and all of the wiring connecting them. Easiest thing to try is remove the combination flasher module on the junction block.

I finally got the wiring diagrams (got them off of our county online library database which have the chilton manuals) and I appreciate Raptor 07 detailing it out for me.

Earlier in the day, I unplugged the Blower Motor and drove it around for a while. The fuse did not blow. I noticed during that time, the reverse lights remained illuminated the whole time. After plugging back in the blower motor, the reverse lights remained on. Perhaps it is in the reverse lights. When it says reverser light socket, I suppose that is exactly what it sounds like. The sockets needs to be cleaned out??
