GV 2.5 CRD size of brake discs front

GV 2.5 CRD size of brake discs front
I wanted to replace brake pads and disks on the front of my 2.5 CRD GV 2002 (ABS) and found there are 2 types of disks offered by parts dealers 
One size is 281MM (11.06") and the other is 301MM (11.85")
I tried to measure the disks without disassembling them and measured ~295MM (~11.8") I think
... so I ordered the large ones.
now I hope I did measure this correctly..
Howcome theres 2 disk sizes?
Should the larger one be ok for my GV?

I have spend hours surfing English, German and Dutch websites, I searched all PDF's I have found about the GV and TC and I cannot find anything about 2 different rotor (brake disk) sizes..
I don't get any replies here too, so I am totally in he dark about this..
Well tomorrow the rotors will be delivered so I will know by then :P
