Headlight issues

Where to begin.... A few days ago i notice that i had a headlight out, on the passenger side, so got a new bulb and replaced it, only to fine still no joy, now I have side lights that wont switch off, high beam works, but no head lights, the horn has stopped working and the int lights work but not when opening the doors. the dash lights work when the switch is turned on, and they turn off when its turned off. Im not sure where to start looking for the prob.....Could it be a bad earthing somewhere???Hope someone on here has some idea....Its a 1998, 3.3 le if thats any help.......

Many thanks in advance
Austin

checked fuses?

All Body Control Module (BCM) related. Try resetting it by pulling the IOD fuse for 2-3 minutes. High beam headlights bypass the BCM.

not a bcm issue this is an older system there are 2 relays 2 fuses 2 separate wire sections if both were an issue I would say yes but only one bulb does not work check the fuses for the headlights first.

I'm taking "...now I have...no head lights" to mean both low beams are out. Is that correct AJcars? Yup, 4 fuses, high and low beam for each head light. Agreed, passenger side low beam is likely a fuse for reasons Chrysler Tech stated if only only passenger side is out. Otherwise, BCM has a controlling function for both low beam head lights, horn, parking lights, dash and interior lights. You can try a BCM reset on those systems.

Thanks for your replies.....After testing everything I have come to the conclusion that there is a fault with the BCM, because if i bypass it all works fine. Will try and pick one up tomorrow and Will post the results when done....
