help 2005 grand voyager uk spec overhead screen

so i have an over head screen and dvd player as standard , i also have AV input in the rear of the car ...

i have fitted a headrest tv/dvd/usb player to one of the rear seats which has an AV output .. my plan was to be able to watch movies off the usb in the headrest dvd via the AV up to the standard overhead screen . i managed to get sound and picture but its in black and white i have tried changing the settings in the headrest dvd from pal to nstc but still only in black and white ..

any help and advice would be great

Patience dear boy, patience. You should remember that support is provided voluntarily by members of the forum and most of us have other things to do in our lives, besided watching over the forum, waiting for the next post to respond to.

Have you tried to play from any other video source or have you tried to play from the AV output of your headrest DVD to another screen?

The only suggestion I can come up with is you're using a bad cable to link from the AV output of the heradrest DVD in to the AV inputs in the car.

Does your hreadrest DVD have standard composite outputs, Red, White and Yellow, or does it use a 4 pole 3.5 mm jack?

standard red white and yellow ..

You need to narrow it down because you should be getting full colour on the Voyager screen. That's what the A/V inputs near the middle row seats are for.
Have you tried a different audio/video cable?
Have you tried the A/V out of your headrest DVD into a different monitor?
Have you tried a different video source connected to the Voyager A/V inputs?

Presumably the Voyager DVD deck plays movies to the Voyager screen in full colour.
