Hvac controls & switch illumination
The heating & air conditioning control panel bulbs can be replaced with radio shack #272-2254. The bulb for the mirror switch can be replaced with #272-1092. You will have to carefully remove the sleeve on the bulb & re-use the twist in socket. Heated seat switches & some other switches will also take #272-2254. If your not handy with a soldering iron, take it to an electronics repair shop. I doubt they would charge a great deal. Hope this helps.

Hi,
I also need to replace the bulbs in the switch panel. Can you advise the spec of the bulbs as we don't have a radio shack in the UK and I would need to know current etc to be able to source replacement bulbs. Thanks, Steve. |
Hvac & switch bulbs
THE BULB FOR THE SWITCHES IS 60mA. BULB TYPE T-1. BRIGHTNESS .15MSCP. LAMP TYPE 7219. BULB FOR HVAC CONTROLS IS 50mA. BRIGHTNESS .12MSCP. BULB TYPE T-1

Which switches are you referring to and which bulbs for the HVAC controls are you talking about. i believe there are two different types of bulbs in the HVAC control. I ask this because most of mine are out too.

Bulbs are for the hvac controls, not the amber l.e.d's. Switches are the mirror, headlamp, heated seat swithes etc.

Hi
My response is for the centre console "Icon" bulbs ie.not the rotary yellow "volume" leds. I also replaced the hazard light with an led. It's not that hard a job. |
