Lower control arm R&R

My '05 T&C touring has a very loose feel when driving that's hard to describe. I've replaced the struts and stabilizer bar links this past summer because they were shot, but I think the issue I'm feeling is a rotted out set of control arms. Lord knows everything else under this car is rusted to hell. So I was looking at removal and replacement instructions, with the Haynes manual proving largely useless for this car. From what I've seen you need to remove the suspension cradle to access all the parts, and on the driver side you need to jack up the transaxle up to remove one of the control arm bolts. I want to confirm that this is all necessary from someone who's done the repair before. I've often encountered repair write ups that require work that isn't necessary. I want to remove as little as possible, again, due to the rust issue this car has.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, plan on removing the cradle to do the control arms. I just recently did this and it's really not that bad, especially if you have air tools. It was a nice surprise that my ball joints were not terrible to take out either.

This will fix the looseness you feel and you'll be glad you did it (assuming your tie rods are good).
