New Remote Start, Airbag Light On

I have a 2012 Chrysler Town & Country. Yesterday, I installed a Flash Logic remote start on it successfully and it works great. However, I noticed that now the airbag light is on. When I was going through the install instructions, I unplugged the air bag underneath the steering wheel, installed the remote start, and then plugged the airbag back in before putting everything back together. I realized afterwards that that the instructions told me not to unplug this. Would doing this cause the light to come on? Is there a way I can reset it? If anyone has some suggestions, it would be most appreciated. I'm not ultra savvy on car stuff, but I would appreciate any help.

My airbag light comes on from time to time, last time a few days ago.
Sure I read somewhere previously that, as long as the "fault" doesn't happen again, it will reset itself.
Mines is out again after 4 or 5 days.

Did you disconnect the battery, if not then disconnecting the airbag may have triggered an error code. If it doesn't reset itself, not sure about the T&C but I do know some of the later Jeeps don't, then its simply to have it reset. Autozone used to do a code reader that you can rent for an hour or two which can be used to reset it. Although if you're lucky some of then will actually do it for you. Costs about 10 to 15 bucks.

The airbag warning system is self-resetting, so if you have an airbag error light coming on, after several ignition starts (It has to be a full engine start, not just to acc position, etc.) it will re-discover the airbag system, test it and the warning light will go out.

I found this out when working on a faulty connector under my seat for the seatbelt pre-tensioners, after a couple of starts it went out by itself since I'd reseated the cables.
