How pound out wheel stud or should I buy hub; is 15" correct?
I have a 2000 Chrysler Grand Voyager front 2WD 3.3L engine VIN:1C4GJ44GXYB740259
I broke off the wheel stud that comes out of the wheel assembly (called wheel hub). So my job is getting out the old broken stud from the wheel assembly. Or maybe I should replace the whole assembly? Advice on knocking out the old stud or what to do is requested.
Here's a video
When trying to pound the stud out inward, I make no progress. Perhaps I should try harder? I'm hitting hard enough to worry about the thing breaking. I tried a butane torch, but it didn't help.
Under the Rock Auto parts list https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...ing+&+hub,1636
The tires are 215 R15 , so I believe that means I have the 15" wheels. Is that right?
In that case, is the cheapest Rock Auto wheel hub is the POWER STOP513123 Autospecialty for $25.79
Is that right?
Thanks.
