Power Outlet fuse locatioin

The lower power outlet on my 2007 Town and country has blown a fuse. Does anybody know the location of this fuse. The outlet has a picture of a battery next to it. Also the cigarette lighter outlet above it has blown as well. Can't find that fuse either.

Check your owners manual. Then look for a box under the hood. It's the power distribution center. Pull the cover and look under the cover. It tells what each fuse is connected to.

Thanks for the suggestion and I found the 20amp fuse for the power outlet that has the cigarette lighter symbol, however I can't find the one for the power outlet with the battery picture next to it. In the manual it talks about these outlets being "self-resetable" and that a dealer needs to reset it.

does the floor power outlet work the one in the center console between the seats?

I don't have power outlets in a center console. I have two under the radio and one at the back. It's just the one with the battery icon next to it - right at the bottom that doesn't work. I think this one provides constant power and is not controlled by the ignition. It would be handy if the manual said where the fuse was, but it doesn't.

no fuse it would be PTC if u had power to teh other power outlet then its not a power issue then it would be the assembly at the power outlet. Remove it and chk for power and ground to the connector if U have both then u have a power outlet base issue.

Sounds like your 400w inverter has done you in. Hopefully it's an easy fix. I think you are going to need a smaller inverter. Did you determine how many watts the Xbox 360 uses?

I calculated the Xbox as needing 500 W. Seem like a 20 AMP DC circuit should be plenty for an inverter for the Xbox. However the Xbox runs on DC, why not just get a light plug for the X?
