power sliding door issue
 

I'm new to this thread and have a question that maybe someone can help me with. Have a 2001 T&C Limited with a driver side power sliding door issue. When I either use the remote or the buttons on the van, the door makes a whirring sound and does not open nor does it close. While making the sound though, I pull on the latch on the outside of the door it will open and close so it's not the motor. When it does close it will not pull the door in and securely latch the door tight correctly. Am somewhat mechanically inclined so I would like to fix this myself. (Really can't afford a mechanic to repair it, no offence I hope.

possibly the latch it has the cinch motors in it and PRAWL inside replace the whole sliding door latch assembly

are you suggesting everything from the door handle down or just the assembly at the bottom where it is to catch?

the latch is the part at the back of the door that LATCHES to the body

If possible can you post the picture of the part that was broken, because I'm from Slovenia and my tech English isn't very good :\
