Power window issue

Hi...newbie here,

Having an odd problem with my driver's side power window, It will _always_ roll down but usually never rolls up on the first try. And, at times, it just wouldn't roll up at all.

I have replaced the switch cluster 2-3 times and, each time, the window works perfectly for a few months then will start having the same issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Next time it happens, try thumping the door card in the middle a few times with your fist while pressing the switch. If the window moves then it indicates that you need new carbon brushes in the motor.

Agree'd with you. I have also found that spraying the glass tracks periodically with silicon spray helps and also taking the "DOOR CARD" off and lubing the lift cables the motor works to move the glass very helpful also...from a member of many mopar mini vans from the USA side of the "POND"! :) ;) :D

We had this issue with the passenger side window try to “fonzie” it next time. It work a long time for me and I eventually replace the window motor and track and it’s had no issues for the past 3ish years now
