Default radiator change, now will not start-Code P0351-3533

Last week I changed the radiator in my 2001 T&C 3.8. All went great. A few days ago, it wouldn't start and after running a scan, I have codes P0351-353. Could it be that there is a wire that may have gotten pinched running along the bottom of the radiator in the bundle down there? Seems like a funny place to run ignition wires, if so...

As far as I know, there were no compromised wires during the radiator change. I don't believe that I actually have a coil problem. There must be a short in a wire somewhere created when I changed out the radiator.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thats 351+353....or all three.....????

Is the coil plugged in??? Did you unplugg it at any point durig rad repalcement?(Although I cant see why).

Think of your coil as three seperate entities...sharing a power source.....Check the Brown/White wire in terminal 2 of coil connector for 12v+ while CRANKING...

Do you have fuel pressure?
Did the computer get wet with antifreeze?
Double check the Connectors over the transmission, leading from the driver side fender....

It is all 3 codes
I did not unplug anything but the 2 fans
Antifreeze did not get on aything near the coil...

I will check the wire, but I feel it must be something in that lower bundle? Just a hunch, though

Thanks for all of your quick responses.

No, no antifreeze got on anything above the bottom of the radiator. I drained it and replaced it...computer, coil, all wiring above stayed dry and is dry.

The car ran for a few days after the R&R of rad, then my wife went out 2 days ago and it wouldn't start. I've been out of town until today. The battery is good and hot...no low voltage. Just no spark...

I checked the #2 terminal (brown and white wire, second pin from driver's side of connector) and I have voltage during cranking.

Is there an easy way to check fuel pressure?

Now, get this...I plugged the coil connector back in and it started right up! I did not mess with any other wires. Do you see an emminent failure of any component? Could the coil be failing? I cleared the codes, but I am worried that it may happen again and leave my wife stranded somewhere...

I would suspect a loose connection at the coil connector.

Start the vehicle, and smack, wiggle and tug on every connector visible, starting with the "CROSSOVER harness" above the trans......

The more aggressive you are, the more likely you are to find the culprit, but also the more likely to "FALSELY" identify a problem from Trying too hard.....

A bit of finesse is required.
