Rear aux heater hose burst today. Please help!
 

The return hose from the rear heater core burst today. The hose going from the heater core to the hard line on the inside of the rear passenger that are located behind the trim. I am not sure what caused it but it happened on my drive into work.
I know the lines were leaking under the passenger seat area, and tried fixing it with some jb weld (temporary fix) until I get the new lines.
When I disconnected the lines from the rear heater core, I did notice it looked brown inside the hoses (corrosion in the lines I'm assuming).
Should I try running water through the rear heater core to flush it out or get a new one?
Also, how do I remove the rear heater core, and how do I fix the hose that burst? It has a clamp on one end but then it looks like it is fitted onto the hard line in a way that can not be replaced.

Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. This also my first post, and it sucks that it has to be one like this.

I forgot to mention that it's a 2002 Town & Country Limited AWD if that makes any difference.

Would you expect any different from 16 year old rubber hoses?
The metal crimp clamps can be cut off and the rubber hose replaced along with new regular hose clamps. As for leaking metal pipes, JB weld will not hold under system pressure. I had an 04 van that I replaced the lines with soft copper tubing that could be formed to run as the originals. A bit of time consuming work, but a LOT less costly for parts!
