Default removing car phone bracket

Hi,

Ive just bought 2.5 diesel turbo LE Grand Voyager in Spain and it has a metal phone holder bracket sticking outbetween the wood effect facia on the dash and the plastic dash.

I haven't looked properly yet as I'm in the UK at the mo without the car but is the square wood effect facia easy to get off to remove the unsightly bracket or is it one of those horrible jobs where plastic bits can snap off and you bugger up the whole thing!

Any help on this matter would be apreciated

Cheers

Mark

I needed the code for the radio when we first bought out Voyager so I took it to the main dealer and this is what he did. (Didn't charge either)

At the top of the whole control panel you will find two plug covers, pull them clear with a screwdriver to expose the screws. At the bottom (and this is a bit hazy as I wasn't paying too much attention) is a full width panel which I'm sure he removed, have a good look in that area. The whole control panel section comes off in one piece and this should let you get at your bracket. If your not sure you could always clarify by popping into a main dealer and ask.

Hope this helps.
