Reverse lights sometimes work.

Hi, as said my reversing lights sometimes work. Are the lights operated by a switch on the gearbox, which has a shaft operated by gear linkage inside gearbox. Or do we have something more electronic....Gives a clue to adjusting it..

Depends on the model year and transmission installed.

Yuck. I don't know squat about the manual transmissions. Pretty good bet you have the older system with an external switch as you're thinking. That's a good thing. Hope somebody gets you the info.
