What do you mean by rough riding. Is there knocking or bumping noises from below. Or is it wandering on the road.

no noises... rides rougher than when new... like on a ground up highway before the re-paving... like to make it new again... shocks ?

Do the shock test. Press down on each corner (if you can) let it go and it should rise with no bounce. Does steering turn easily with no binding as per top mount seizure. Try fitting front wheels on back and vice versa as this cures or finds faults.
