scan tool for voyager 1998 SCI bus "PART 2"

Thanks for you comment. But I have abother question. Looking at the diagram of the voyager 1998 the CCD bus is on OBD2 connector Pins 3 and 11. And as of today I haven't found any tester that have those pin. So my question : What is the protocol used for this car. Even my OTC 3498 and my OBD-2 scanner in my laptop don't have those pins . Do you have a name for " any little scanner " that could read the DTC then.

Thanks again for you r help
Daniel

My post :

I have a OTC 3498 but cannot connect to this mcu. I thing I need a sci bus scanner. But which one is low cost, but still good. Voyager 1998 3.0L
Thanks all. ------------------------------------------------------------------

Your response:

PCM is the correct term and as for the SCI part
u would need a dealer scanner to talk on the SCI bus.
the normal bus is the CCD and any little scanner can do this

the SCI is for a dealer only scanner it programs and reads the PCM only
When the software is needed to be updated on the PCM the SCI bus is used and again because I know I said it b4 this is a dealer only bus system
