SE 3.6L year2000 Ignition failure

Hi everyone !

Upon ignition, the engine turns over and runs for a few seconds, then stops and the «Set Alarm» signal lights up and blinks. This phenomenon occurs several times and after about a dozen times the “Set Alarm” signal goes off.

Sometimes the motor starts up, stops after a few seconds and afterwards, when the starter is used, nothing happens. An attempt to start the engine produces no sound; the starter does not make any noise. But the parking brake light comes on and goes off when the key is released.
We thought that this problem was solved following former messages on the forum some month ago but it's still there.

Hi Chrysler Tech! Thanks for your answer.
Itis my brother’s car. We live in France.
I had to check on the net about the meaning of “cluster” in automobile. :eek:Sorry.
I understand it is the dashboard lights
I called him today he told me that yes, some of the cluster’s lightsin fact do not lit as usual when the incident occurs but he could not tell me which ones


Things that have been done trying to correct this intermittent failure:
-- The Chrysler dealer has replaced the “antenna” that communicates with the car key and reprogrammed it to communicate correctly with the calculator.
But....still the same..
