strange auto fault figure this one out
 

hi all
i have a voyager 3.3 auto voyager 1998
it has been fantastic but for no apparant reason i drove up the road and it lost all forward motion so i stopped turned off 2 minutes later i started the engine and away i went but she only carried on for about 20 metres!
no noises atall the oil has been changed and the filter cleaned and still it does the same thing 20 metres then stops and no further i hope someone can help me out as i am lost without her

No CE light and no codes? First determine if you are missing spark or fuel. Listen for the pump running at the back of the van. Remove a plug wire, stick a screw driver in the end then hold the metal shaft close to metal structure (1/8 inch or less) while you crank the engine. Should see an intermittent spark

One common culprit for an "out of the blue" stall is the crankshaft sensor. They often fail without throwing a code.
