Strange tube on Grand Voyager 3.3LE

here is an image of a strange pipe on the transmission side of the car, it feels like it connects to the underside of the battery compartment, but for what reason? drainage ? or has it been put in the wrong place, it's a small fairly long piece of rubber tubing that i found while checking over the engine.

if anone has a clue as it where it goes that would be great.

Also does anyone have a diagram of the location of the both Crank sensor's?

cheers

Paul

there should be an image attached.

I cannot open the link at work, but if it goes to the battery tray, then yes it is a drain for the battery. It is long tube made of a hard plastic.
